Hope

She was a dainty girl, a little frayed from the complexities of life .....but she still had hope.
Some days she would throw open the windows and they would sing melodies from the bottom of their souls.
....Other days they just liked to contemplate the world.

What a precious doll! Did you use paper clay for the face? I love the eyes and wistful, hopeful expression you gave her. You are an amazing doll artist-love the flowered dress too.

Really, beautiful doll and story to go with her.

I love this doll. Thank you for sharing. I, too, would like to know what the face is made of...paper or polymer clay.

Thank you all. Her face is sculpted from paperclay, underpainted black before colouring her.
