Akira comes to Fibreswest in Bunbury

A couple of photos of some of the wonderful dolls made in class - not all finished yet but well on the way. Such variety and imagination.......cloth dolls are for the free spirited people who quietly (not always Rhonda!) work away at creating a moment in time.

Everyone in Akira's classes has success in making dolls; it must be the sign of a really good instructor. Akira is so generous with her knowledge and experience and her ideas and craftsmanship set the best standards for her students - just see it in your photographs! I have to say that her video on making heads and hands is excellent, as well. No affiliation here, but a very satisfied student.

They all look great - and if I had to put money on it I would say Ann Maullin's is the stump doll?
